Selected agencies may submit a request for items not on this list. TxDOT will review the request and determine approval status. TxDOT must approve all items prior to purchase. Keep in mind, the equipment must be traffic safety related.

 

Law Enforcement Training

Any training course that is traffic safety related. The selected agency must submit a request for TxDOT review and approval.

 

All requests should be submitted to Scott Blanton at TxDOT by email at the following address: sblanto@dot.state.tx.us .

 

 

Note: All agencies receiving incentives must sign a letter of agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation prior to making a purchase. The letter of agreement will:

•  Give the agency approval to purchase the equipment

•  List a maximum amount TxDOT will reimburse based on the incentive received

List requirements regarding inventory of property for tracking purposes
