REQUIRED ENFORCEMENT
DATA for Incentive Eligibility
The
Buckle Up Texas website ( www.buckleuptexas.com
) will be the venue where law enforcement agencies
enter their Click It or Ticket (CIOT) enforcement data.
Upon request by an agency representative, the website will
generate a password that will allow access into the online
reporting system. Once an agency has access to the reporting
system, the representative will enter and submit their agency's
enforcement data for the CIOT campaign (May 23 – June 5).
The deadline for submitting data is June 15, 2005 and must
be met for an agency to become eligible for the incentive
drawing.

Narrative
Section :
This
section can be used by agencies to make comments
on their involvement in the CIOT program. It is
not required for incentive eligibility. |
NOTE
FOR REPORTING : Agencies
with a TxDOT funded special CIOT grant must follow their
grant agreement and enter their enforcement data on the
website under STEP Grant Reporting. All other TxDOT funded
STEP agencies must follow the instructions for reporting
on the incentive project. This will require them to report
as they normally do on their STEP grant under the STEP Grant
Reporting link, but also create a separate report specifically
for CIOT. These agencies should create their own account
and password on the CIOT Incentive Project Reporting link.
Finally, any agency that did not receive TxDOT STEP funding
should log in and enter their enforcement data on the CIOT
Incentive Project Reporting link.
The
CIOT activity report is due by June 15th, 2005 in order
to be eligible for the incentive drawing.
