About the Program

The Buckleuptexas.com Incentive Reporting system has been extended to offer all police agencies the opportunity to report enforcement activities that correspond with special mobilizations. The mobilizations include CIOT and IDM.

How it Works

To start using the system there are a few simple steps:

  • Step 1 - Sign-up
Registration is available to all agencies not funded with a TxDOT grant. Once you enter your information we review your account details, verify your agency, and activate your account.
  • Step 2 - Submit Reports
You can submit reports for special mobilization periods such as Click it Or Ticket and Impaired Driving Mobilizations. A report consists of a single page showing enforcement hours, total citations etc... When you submit a report, we will review the information prior to it being available in the main results.
  • Step 3 - View Program Results
You can view individual or combined reports for both your own agency and other approved agencies participating from across the state.

About TMPA

TMPA acts as a liaison to coordinate the efforts between TxDOT Program Managers, Traffic Safety Specialists, Law Enforcement Liaison Teams, Sherry Matthews Advertising Agency, and each partner agency.

To achieve the goals, the programs combine a concerted local and statewide media campaign with additional law enforcement activity to reinforce their specific message. Police officers will be working overtime, issuing citations and arresting DWI offenders, in an effort to reduce the number of fatalities and injuries on Texas roadways. Studies have shown that the combination of media exposure and increased traffic enforcement are successful in increasing the occupant protection usage rates, decreasing DWIs, decreasing speeding violations and crashes, and improving the safety on Texas highways and roads
